Yali Bair is a women’s health leader with over 20 years of experience in health care, research and policy analysis. Prior to starting her consulting practice, Dr. Bair served as Vice President for Public Policy for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California and Assistant Director for State Health Policy Research at the UC Davis Center for Health Care Policy and Research. Her experience includes community health center administration, women’s health center management, health policy analysis, and strategic advocacy. In addition, she has extensive research experience in epidemiology and health services.
Dr. Bair led the California Women’s Health Care Partnership and serves as senior health policy faculty for the Women’s Policy Institute, convened by The Women’s Foundation of California. She has authored peer reviewed publications in clinical and health policy journals and has presented widely in both academic and non-academic venues. Yali serves on the California State Women’s Health Council and the Yolo County Maternal Child and Adolescent Health Advisory Board.
Dr. Bair completed her undergraduate training in biological science at the University of California, San Diego and earned a PhD in epidemiology from the University of California, Davis.
